Our expert design team has taken a beautiful Seventies lace design from the archive and made it thoroughly modern

How to celebrate 90 years in the bra business? With a modern reworking of a classic design from decades past. To do this, our design team headed to the M&S Archive in Leeds to pick the perfect piece: this trellis lace style from the Seventies. “This iconic bra completely captured our imagination,” says Soozie Jenkinson, head of lingerie design. “When you think about Seventies style, the modern silhouette was very natural – a trend that feels relevant today. Using the same triangle cut and also developed with an underwire to fit up to an E cup, it also comes with matching knickers. Consider it your chance to own a little piece of M&S history.”
